So after a long wait, Xanny’s Curse is finally back! We’ve been working hard at trying to get this thing going for years and years - and I seriously thought that because we’ve gotten so busy with other stuff that we couldn’t undertake a project like Xanny’s Curse. That is, until I met the right people.
Xanny’s Curse, in its simplest form, is the story of a man whose unknown past becomes the reason why he’s living the life he lives now. From the very beginning, great effort and care has been made to make sure that the origin storyline doesn’t affect or reflect any sort of single religion - and we’ve also tried to make the comic as accessible to a wide array of people as possible with the introduction of our transcript feature.
With that said, there will be plenty of changes to this website. The Xanny’s Curse blog (http://blog.xannyscurse.com) is one of the major sweeping changes to the website as we resuscitate Xanny’s Curse back to life even more. With script revisions and weekly meetings about Xanny’s Curse, I think we’re going to be able to continue Xanny’s story in the most realistic and plausible manner yet.
Just as a public service, Xanny’s Curse will be updating every two weeks starting today… so you can expect a new page every two weeks. If you can’t wait until the next page, then hop on over to the blog and see what we’re planning for you. Who knows… maybe we’ll let you in on a little secret here and there about what’s going to happen in the next few pages. Until then, please enjoy this brand new Xanny’s Curse page!

I notice the art style has changed somewhat - looks pretty good, do you have a schedule in mind for updates or it going to be as and when you are able to do one?

“Since our artist is working on finalizing the character designs for the people in the first Act, we might take a little longer than two weeks to display the next comic. I understand that we have placed a timeline of two weeks for each comic, but we wanted to make sure that everyone knew this by going to this blog.”
Posted on March 15th, 2009 at 10:42 am by XandyI saw the blog - it wasn’t especially clear but then I only glanced at it, still i am fine with what you said - i can certainly wait till you are all satisfied with the results - I can hardly complain when I am at least partly to blame for another web comic being on hiatus - if I wasn’t so damned lazy I would have written the first chapter by now
Posted on March 16th, 2009 at 8:42 am by Great SageYea, the character designs for Act 1 are definitely something that we’ve been working on because we don’t want more gaps in between panels - we figure if we finalize each character’s design, we can focus on drawing them rather than trying to figure out what they’d look like based off of their personality. We want to really release the next page - but it’s a pivotal scene (I can’t tell you why, sorry) so it needs to be handled with extreme care.
